MIRU Festival 2026 — Version 2026.01

Miru Festival 2026 will take place on Saturday 25 April 2026 and Sunday 26 April 2026, each day from 14:00 to 00:00, at Ruiterijcomplex Vilvoorde, Beneluxlaan 31, 1800 Vilvoorde, Belgium. Organised by Miru BV, Lommelsebaan 7, 3940 Hechtel-Eksel, Belgium, CBE BE1008.852.854.


Article 01

Applicability and Acceptance

These General Terms & Conditions apply to every purchase of an admission ticket for Miru Festival 2026 and to every entry to the festival site. By purchasing a ticket and/or entering the festival site, the visitor fully, expressly and irrevocably accepts these Terms & Conditions. These Terms are binding upon every natural person attending the Festival (hereinafter referred to as the "Visitor").


Article 02

Definitions

"Festival" refers to Miru Festival 2026 taking place on 25 and 26 April 2026 at the above-mentioned location. "Ticket" refers to a valid, personalised admission ticket for the Festival, being a Saturday General Access Ticket, Sunday General Access Ticket, Combi Ticket, VIP Saturday Ticket or VIP Sunday Ticket. "Festival Site" refers to the entire event area including entrance zones, stages, temporary constructions, bars, sanitary facilities, VIP areas, parking zones and all other zones designated by the Organiser. "Force Majeure" refers to any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser that renders the execution of the Festival impossible, unsafe or unreasonably difficult, including but not limited to government decisions, police intervention, security threats, terrorism, strikes, pandemics, fire, infrastructure failures, transport disruptions or extreme weather conditions declared unsafe by competent authorities. Bad weather in itself does not constitute Force Majeure unless prohibited by competent authorities.


Article 03

Tickets and Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Article VI.53, 12° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, no statutory right of withdrawal applies to the purchase of Tickets. All ticket sales are final and cannot be cancelled or revoked. Tickets are strictly personal, nominative and non-transferable. Resale or transfer is prohibited. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any Ticket offered for resale without refund. If the name on the Ticket does not match the identification document presented at entry, access may be refused without refund.


Article 04

Identity Checks and Age Requirement

The Organiser reserves the right to carry out identity checks at the entrance of the Festival. Only a valid identity card, passport or driving licence will be accepted. Copies are not accepted. The minimum age for entry is 18 years. Persons turning 18 during calendar year 2026 will be admitted. No exceptions will be made.


Article 05

Access and Opening Hours

The Festival takes place on Saturday 25 April 2026 and Sunday 26 April 2026 from 14:00 to 00:00. The Organiser reserves the right to modify the opening hours if required for safety, operational reasons or by public authorities. Entry after 22:30 may be refused at the sole discretion of the Organiser. Upon entry, Visitors receive a wristband. Loss or theft is the sole responsibility of the Visitor and does not entitle the Visitor to replacement or refund. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, remove a Visitor from the site and/or ban access to future editions without refund.


Article 06

Programme and Line-Up

Changes to the programme, line-up, set times, stages or other Festival components do not entitle Visitors to any refund or compensation. The Organiser reserves the right to temporarily or permanently close parts of the Festival if required for safety, technical or organisational reasons.


Article 07

Cancellation and Force Majeure

Weather conditions do not entitle Visitors to a refund. If the Festival is cancelled due to Force Majeure, the Organiser may, at its discretion, offer a voucher or refund the face value of the Ticket. Service fees and transaction costs are non-refundable. If the Festival is cancelled for reasons other than Force Majeure, liability is limited to the face value of the Ticket. No compensation is granted for indirect damages including travel or accommodation costs.


Article 08

Liability

Visitors attend the Festival at their own risk. The Organiser is only liable for direct damages exclusively caused by proven gross negligence. The Organiser is not liable for theft, loss or damage to personal belongings. Use of official parking areas is entirely at the Visitor's own risk. The Organiser accepts no liability for damage, theft or incidents occurring in parking zones.


Article 09

Code of Conduct

Miru Festival is a curated cultural event where respect and safety are central. Aggressive behaviour, violence, harassment, discrimination, racism, political symbols, extremist expressions and hate speech are strictly prohibited. Possession, use or dealing of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. The Festival applies a zero-tolerance drug policy. Violations may result in immediate removal without refund and possible police involvement. Entering restricted areas, climbing structures, crowd surfing and stage diving are prohibited.


Article 10

Security Checks

By entering the Festival Site, Visitors accept security checks including bag inspections and lawful searches. Refusal to comply may result in denial of entry without refund.


Article 11

Cashless System

The Festival operates a cashless payment system. The Organiser determines refund conditions for unused balances, including potential administrative fees and deadlines. Loss of wristband or misuse by third parties remains the Visitor's responsibility.


Article 12

Reusable Cups and Sustainability

The Festival operates a reusable cup system. Deposits may apply. Deposits for unreturned cups are non-refundable. Visitors must comply with sustainability guidelines and dispose of waste appropriately.


Article 13

Image Rights and Camera Surveillance

By entering the Festival Site, the Visitor irrevocably grants Miru BV the right to record and use images and audio worldwide for promotional, commercial and archival purposes without compensation. Camera surveillance may be used for security purposes.


Article 14

Public Domain and Authority Compliance

The Festival takes place on public domain. The Organiser must comply with instructions from police, fire brigade or other competent authorities. Adjustments or early termination ordered by authorities do not entitle Visitors to any refund.


Article 15

Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by Belgian law. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Brussels.
